Professional Summary
Dr. Lee was born in South Korea in 1988 and lived there until 2002 before he moved to Cupertino, California with his family. His uncle Meet Dr. Hwang C.H. is also an acupuncturist currently practicing in South Korea specializing in Korean Acupuncture and Moxibustion style for patients with severe chronic disorder.
After graduating from University of California, Riverside with a B.A. degree in Asian Studies, Dr. Lee decided to continue his journey as an Acupuncturist, realizing that there are so much more to the universe of Acupuncture than just needles and discovering the profound philosophy that underlies it.
Dr. Lee has completed his M.A. degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from University of East-West Medicine, Sunnyvale under the direct supervision of Master C.K. Hwang of Korean Meridian Technique for 3 years. To continue his journey as a acupuncturist, Dr. Lee has attended and graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with a degree in Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This opportunity has given him a chance to work under direct supervision of Dr. Ora Gordon, MD and Dr. J. Kim, L.Ac at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Burbank as an externship Acupuncturist for cancer patients with various chemo-related medical condition.
Dr. Lee believes that everyone's body is each universe of his/her own. Some disease come quietly, some with distinct evidences but they all speak the same body language, pain. Pain is an inherent trait that varies from individual to individual. Such individualized and subjective matter whether physical or mental, it only speaks to oneself, a patient. That is why Dr. Lee believes that every patient deserves such corresponding individualized approach to recuperate.
Having the opportunity of experiencing and utilizing both Eastern and Western cultures and medicine, he pursues his career as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to broaden the visibility and practice of acupuncture and oriental medicine to those seeking alternative, supplemental perhaps integrative solutions.
Dr. Lee's Acupuncture style is mainly based on Korean balancing method providing patients painless yet effective treatment.
